Christmas Pinwheel Appetizers

I made a lot of these for my daughter's event tomorrow night.  I bookmarked the recipe because I liked the way they looked.  I did not think I would like them because of the dried cranberries but these were exceptionally good!

Place cream cheese and feta in the bowl of your mixer.  I made tons of this but a regular recipe would call for 1 large block of cream cheese and 1 cup of crumbled feta.

Add 1 bunch of sliced green onions and 1 cup of dried cranberries.  Mix to combine.

Spread a large wrap with this mixture,  roll tight and wrap in plastic wrap.

Chill until ready to serve.  Slice into rounds.  I made them with both spinach and tomato wraps for holiday colors.

The combination of creamy saltiness, green onions and the sweetness of the dried cranberries makes a perfect appetizer.

Oooh, these would be perfect to take to my Mom's nursing home for our family Christmas celebration. .we can't take anything that needs heating, so have opted for appetizers. .she gets a huge dinner there anyway, and the rest of the family always has a huge breakfast, so appetizers are the way to go. Thanks for the recipe!

I do like the color combination on them :-) Dried cranberries has become really popular here as a healthy candy. A bit strange since most people doesn't know what they are :-)

The package has arrived at the post office and I'll try to fetch it tomorrow. But we're having a chaotic situation here due to heavy snowfall and lots of roads are closed (the one to the post office amongst others).

Lots of car crashes and some drivers have died too, it took me over an hour to come home today but at least I did come home. It will continue to snow all night and the wind is getting stronger. I'm not even sure I'll make it to work tomorrow, It's not that bad here at home to be honest but the closer to work one comes the worse it gets :-)

Have a great day!
Christer.

I thought it was an ice cream mino yule log with mint flavour.
Mmmm, that DOES sound good -- and it looks like the perfect finger food for a buffet table.

Love the idea of having cranberries in them! They look delicious.
I think...I lost my comment. If it didn't go through..I said I was hesitant about the cranberries but if you say they are good..then they have to be good. ...IF the other comment went through just please delete this one? Ok? :)
