RIP Bev
My friend Bev died last evening. I don't know what to say. I knew she was dying but I guess I secretly was hoping for a miracle. Her beloved niece Angie was by her side. At least she was in no pain and at home with her family and pets. I am hoping that she and Kary are in some wonderful farm house kitchen in the sky cooking up a heavenly storm and laughing at us because we are missing all the fun. Bev was one of a kind and made me laugh like no one else. I will miss you so much my good friend.

Oh my God, I'm so sorry, I only know her through your words and she looked a very good person I prayed for her when you said she was ill and now I pray again although I'm sure she is ok, hugs from Spain. (I don't know if I express myself in the correct way in English, excuse me)

What a beautiful smile. I'm so sorry for your loss, but I'm grateful she was able to be at home, and that she was not in pain, that's a blessing. I honestly believe that those we love do not completely leave us, and I have great faith that she is in a much better place and at peace. It's us that are left behind that have to struggle with the loss, and try to focus only on the best memories and the all the good our friends and family were and did. Big hugs to you,

Yes Dear, I am very sorry for your loss. But I'd think that she must have done some suffering, with this last illness. Although happy she was home and in no pain, for the end. And she is now, without any suffering.

Oh my. That is so sad. I think you are correct--she is now feeling good again in a great big farmhouse kitchen! We are so lucky when we have special people that pass through our lives, leave an indelible print and then give us memories to last a lifetime. I'm sorry for your loss. Maggie

I was lucky to have "met" Bev via the blog. What a gracious lady & kind heart. Bev will be greatly missed.

Oh, this is so sad. I met Bev after Kary passed away, I really enjoyed her, her recipes & her blog. I'll keep her family in my thoughts & prayers.
