No Show Snow

I was hoping to wake up to a white morning but the snow missed us once again!

Teddy was looking around like....hey, where is the white stuff?

She always looks at me like I control the weather.

On the other hand, though I had the snow melt turned on for the driveway and patio...

Some black ice managed to form out there and when I ran out on the patio this morning, I found it. I flew in the air and landed flat on my back and slid under the car.  It was quite exciting!  I have scratches and bruises and I am sure I will feel it in lots of places tomorrow.  But mostly my pride is bruised.

Oh no!You are going to feel it for sure. I am so sorry. Take a long hot bath.
OMG silly goose. Black Ice Dancer, that's you. All jokes aside....I hope you are ok. Soak in a hot tub, take a couple of Aleve. Be well sister of the wild kind.

Teddy as always is a hit with me.

No snow show! Hope that changes for you soon.
ONLY you would claim, that falling on black ice, and sliding under a car, was exciting! ,-)

We got your snow........

Running, ducking and hiding. ,-)

I shouldn't laugh ... but, "under the car" ... c'mon :ROFLMAO!!:

You gotta take it down to UNDER 55 miles-per-hour ... you got one body and you're beating the living daylights out of it.

Love the pictures of Teddy.

We got your snow too ... Massachusetts ... 3 inches with rain on top of it.

Stay safe and do what The Wild Magnolia says.

Teddy must have given you quite The Look when you came limping back in! Glad you're all right. We got an inch or so of snow, then freezing rain, then spits of rain. Ugh! *Abhor* icing :( Salt applied nicely to steps & sidewalks.

Well, if you were going to take a fall it sounds like you did it with style. Did Teddy make any attempt to pull you out from under the car? By tomorrow your backside will be hurting worse than your pride. Kidding aisde, I am so sorry you had this accident despite it being "exciting". Apparently the good Karma you are generating from volunteering at the shelter has not kicked in yet.

You can get our snow if You want :-)

I hate black ice! Thankfully we rarely have it but it's bad enough to have it even once in a life time :-)

I'm glad that nothing got broken and as long as no one sees us slipping our pride usually heals quickly :-) :-)

Have a great day!
Christer.

A winter day without snow is really a sad thing to see and go through. I understand Teddy's disappointed look. But what a cute dog!

Sounds like something I would do! Please be careful.

Sorry to hear about your accidental slip and slide. I have a cat that seems to think I control the weather too, and he doesn't like it when I make rain or snow or cold.

Ouch! Thankfully you have no serious injuries. Snow is in our forecast for Thursday afternoon.
Oh dear, hope you don't get all stiff and sore! I trust the rest of your day was better, LOL?
Yikes! That's terrible! The same thing happened to my sister in law and she broke her wrist. I'm glad you are alright!! :)

OUCH. I feel for you and I hope you are OK! Black ice is the worst and just plain falling in general is never good especially not quickly. Teddy does look like "what? did you do this?" LOL - what a face!
