Pasta Pizza Pie recipe

This is a good change for either breakfast, lunch or dinner and you can make it very kid friendly too.

Make any kind of pasta you like drain it and set it aside.  This even works well with spaghetti.  In a bowl, mix 5 eggs, some parsley or basil, 1 cup of milk and 3 tablespoons of pepper or tomato paste.  I used red pepper paste.  Whisk this together adding some salt and pepper.

 Slice a small onion.

Melt some butter in a frying pan and saute the onion.

Add the pasta and pour the egg mixture over it.
 Sprinkle on some Parmesan cheese.

Cover it with a lid and turn the heat to low.

Check on it in  a few minutes.  If it has not entirely set, finish it off on a 350 degree oven in the pan for about 15 minutes.

This is the good part.  Polish herb pizza ketchup.  Many places in Europe put ketchup on their pizza.  When I first encountered this, I was horrified.  After trying it, I was converted.  The ketchup you find there is very different from ours in the states.  Look for this in Russian or Polish specialty stores.  The Bum Dumb Thumb with last years scar right below the bandage.

After it sets, let it sit for a minute to cool a bit.
Cut it into wedges and serve it drizzled with the ketchup.  This makes a good leftover when warmed up.

I didn't know we had different ketchup than You! What's the difference?

Have a great day!

I am sure that the ketchup is less sweet than ours and more like a tomato sauce.
