Vietnamese Meatball Rice Bowl

At The Blog Tech's request, I made this for him.  It is one of his favorites.

First thing this morning it looked like this outside.
Now the temps are plummeting.

The snow looks like this but new stuff is on the way.

Not even the fake birds are pleased.

And we might have a big one on the way for this coming weekend!

So make yourself a bowl of this:  http://octoberfarm.blogspot.com/search/label/Vietnamese%20rice%20bowl

And it will make you happy.

The stink bug spray formula for those that asked:

1 quart water
1/3 cup liquid dish detergent (I used dawn)
1/8 cup of alcohol

Mix it together and put it in a spray bottle.  It kills those nasty buggers in seconds!  Don't squish them!  It just attracts more.

Today it is sunny, glorious and supposed to hit the high 40ies.

Weird, weird WEIRD weather.

While I remember it! Never spray this solution while the sun is shining on the plants the bugs are on, the sun will burn the plant badly.

We have a nasty cold wind here now and the roads are icy and nasty to drive on. But it is nice and warm here in my cottage so I'll enjoy that and forget about winter tonight :-)

Have a great day!
Christer.

Hi there! That looks delicious! Your boy is one lucky guy! By the way your stink bug spray is what i use for pesticide on my plants! It cures and protects them from so many different plant diseases! I do not want to use anything chemical, but it is also very effective!

Lucky Blog Tech!

No chances of snow here. We just have a very cold wind!

We appreciate the stink bug spray formula, though we hope we won't have to use it.

Thank you a million, for sharing the "recipe". Actually, only reason we squished these horrid beetles, on another blog, it was recommended.

Daily, I do check your blog, as so enjoy it; your recipes, travels to festivals, gardening adventures, and of course, your dear Teddy. To read your blog, with a good cup of coffee...it just does not get better than that. Also, Bless You, for all you do for the Center.

Thank you, again,

Gracie
I quickly saw a weather report, and thought of you. Not sure if it will reach over to you, though.

But wow!!!!! A big weather system!!!

Love your birds and frogs.
