Potivica

I've had a very busy couple days.  I made a huge Easter dinner for the shelter. I made 8 of these walnut potivicas.

You can find the recipe here:  http://octoberfarm.blogspot.com/2011/12/potivica.html

I used walnuts but you could also make it with pecans.

The dough has to be rolled out very thin.

And the nuts have to be spread over it.

Then it is rolled very tight.

 And coiled into the pan.

The guys at the shelter were thrilled to get these.  I'll show you what else I made for them tomorrow.

I never got around to make these when You posted that recipe last time, I must do it this time and I guess any kind of nut will work even if I love walnuts more than any other nut :-)

Have a Happy Easter!
