Italian Sausage Strata and The Pocket Hose

I made several of these for the shelter yesterday and wow...they sure are good.  I sauteed hot Italian sausage with garlic, onions and peppers and Italian seasoning.  I cubed lots of bread and mixed it with grated mozzarella and provolone.  Then I beat a bunch of eggs with some milk and parmesan cheese.  I mixed it all together and baked it for about an hour until the internal temperature reached 165. This could be served on a small pool of marinara sauce though I served it plain.

I did it!  I bought the Pocket Hose.  19.99.  I finally tried it out yesterday.  It weighs next to nothing and so far, works like a charm.  If it continues to perform, I will be buying more of these.

 This is Teddy gardening.

 Wait mama...I really am gardening!!!

I am incubating some of the patio moss.

 The cistern is running!

I am planting herbs in planters close to the house.  I like having them close to the kitchen since I use them so often.

I plant flowers in these urns too so not only are they useful, they are decorative as well.

I am planting my driveway tubs with patio blueberries in the hopes I can get some before the birds.

I planted this blueberry last year and it is coming back with gusto this spring.

 Strawberries and more herbs.

This is the Pocket Hose.  When it fills with water it is still light weight.  As soon as you turn the water off, it shrivels back up and you can seriously stick the whole 50 feet in your pocket.  It is light as a feather!

My kind of pasta dish.
Glad the Pocket Hose is working for you. You have a lot, lot, lot of watering to do... With all those planted pots, etc.

Read somewhere, that plants in pots, need to be watered daily.......

The strata looks yummy! You should write a shelter cookbook so shelters allover the country know what to do with all of the donated bread, etc.

Everything outside looks wonderful!! I may have to look into that hose. Teddy is just one smart puppy making Mama do all the work!
It's strange to see your yard without snow.
I've seen the hose advertised and based on your recommendation I'm going to pick one up!

Teddy's such a good helper, just like Duke! LOL!!!
