The Witch Collection

Though I have been downsizing the last couple years, every once in a while I still pick up a witch piece if I can find it for a good price.
I have been collecting these brass witch cork screws for years.  I snagged one the other day for a great price and now she has joined the other girls.  I am never getting rid of these things.

I am keeping these too.  These are brass witch bookends.

They are very detailed and heavy.

And I am keeping this tambourine.  I have never come across another like it.

These ladies are not going anywhere either.  The boot scrapes will eventually be used in an alternative way.  I just need to figure that out.  I guess you can tell that I am excited that Halloween is only 154 days away!

Well, you are NOT alone! I am ticking off the days too, AND I shouldn't be. I will hit 77 in October, Joyce, and that is a wee frightening but I hurry time toward Fall anyway! I need to slow down and smell the roses while I still can. :)
I was just gossiping about your fantastic Witch collection on Sunday. My daughter, Mary, is another one who adores Halloween!!

Oooh - the corkscrews are awesome!

I'm ready for October now!

Okay - perhaps after the peas are harvested...
Wondering how Blog Tech did, with his Feed Me sales?

Let me have my summer please. I need my hot, hot, hot days. I know I am mostly alone in this
A holiday home is needed for you in NZ then you can celebrate twice a year. I too love your potion jar and tambourine. Did you keep the Practical Magic book?
Lovely but just a little creepy xx

Oh I love those witches! I need more witches here. In the UK right now it feels like autumn is here and Halloween is coming.

Joyce, I will never tire of seeing your witch collection. I'm thinking of doing a witch house in my garden Did you make the house? I love it I don't want a "cute" one.
What an awesome collection. I bet you have the best house to go Trick or Treating at!

Your witches are wonderful! My husband and I bought a beautiful blown glass kitchen witch at a Christmas bazaar in New York City last December. Has to carry her all around the city in my backpack, but she made it home with her glass broom and long nose intact!
