Barbecued Chicken And Ranch Pasta Salad

The guys at the shelter were especially happy today.  I made them barbecued chicken legs and ranch pasta salad.
You can find the recipe for the BBQ sauce here:  http://octoberfarm.blogspot.com/search?q=barbecue+sauce

When I drove up and opened the car, the smell of BBQ wafted out and filled the air.

The guys all came running to help carry.

I think it was a long hour wait until lunch was served.

This is a really good pasta salad for summer.  Make your favorite ranch dressing.  You can find my recipe here:  http://octoberfarm.blogspot.com/search?q=ranch+dressing

Boil some pasta.

Mix it with diced onions, celery, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers and carrots.  Mix in the ranch dressing and chill before serving.

For the chicken, bake some chicken legs at 400 degrees for 30 minutes or until they reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees.  Then place them under a broiler until they begin to brown.

Dip each leg into the BBQ sauce and place them back on the cookie sheets.

Place them in a 325 degree oven for 20 minutes.

Remove them from the oven and dip each leg into the BBQ sauce again.

Wow! What an hour, that must have been!!!! Waiting...

You have the same kind of allergy thing, as I have.

Grin and bear it. lol. But mine needs to try to be controlled. Because I'm pretty convinced that my head being so messed up, from allergies stuff, that it was easy for a couple of cold bugs, to settle in, and make me so, so, so sick, not long ago.

If I can avoid having to take more antibiotics, because of bad colds, I want to. If I feel "anything," I spray/puff right away. To control, I hope.

The Summer Solstice can mean you can count down to Autumn!!!!! Good thinking!
