Salem Witch Day Lily

The Salem Witch Day Lily is blooming!
That means it is time to put these guys out.

And time to put out the Staub Pumpkins.

I love these casseroles.

It's less than 4 months until Halloween but who's counting?

Beautiful day lily!

I actually saw a couple of pumpkin bowls last year in different super markets! Perhaps They will become more common here too as Halloween gets more popular.

Have a great day!
Christer.
That is one beautiful lily!

Oh October......my favorite month.
Love your banner photo of the Country Living Fair. I go to the one in Ohio in the fall. Such a fun time seeing all the vendors and the fall decorations.

LOL!!! I love visiting your blog, Jaz! You always have autumn and Halloween somewhere near... where all I have to do is check your labels and like "magic" I am transported to your place or Salem where there's a chill in the air, the lovely colors of fall, lovely "witchy" stuff, wonderful plants and delicious food!

Please, don't ever remove this wonderful blog...I would be devastated :}

Hugs,
Jan
Smile. Cooler weather for you too.

LOVE your day lily!!! AND DROOL over your casserole pumpkins. DROOL!

I think that is a cool tradition! Plus a beautiful day lilly! I'm all excited because I ordered some great Halloween stitching and it's on its way!

Such a beautiful flower. Preparing for Halloween is a long process. In summertime, when it is hot one can long about cooler temperatures and remember scary stories told during summer camps by the fire. Or play a game of Call of Cthulhu, as I used to do.
