Butter Lemon Shrimp over Garlic Herb Spaghetti

Here is a quick dinner I made the other day.  I found some wonderful fresh shrimp at the fishmonger and decided to try this recipe.
Melt 1 stick of butter and pour it in a baking pan.  Thinly slice 1 lemon and lay the pieces in the butter.  Lay the shrimp on top and sprinkle it with S&P and Italian seasoning. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes depending on how big your shrimp are.

Dice 6 cloves of garlic and saute' them in 4 tablespoons of butter.  Add fresh herbs, I used oregano and basil and thyme.  Boil one box of spaghetti.  Pour the butter sauce over it after it is drained and toss to coat.

Toss the shrimp around to coat with the butter mixture.

Serve the shrimp over the spaghetti with some of the extra sauce.

Another masterpiece, I haven't had shrimp in a couple years, they don't sell US ones here and I am not sure about Chinese shrimp, they probably grow in someones manure lagoon.

Can you send some over for breakfast? Yum!

That looks very nice indeed. I make a similar dish but without the lemon so I must give that a try.
A tip for you... do you have a Trader Joes anywhere close to you?
If you do, at certain times of the year, they sell packs of Argentine Red Shrimp in the freezer section.
Buy yourself a few bags (they always sell out). They are amazing and taste like a combination of shrimp and lobster. They'd go perfectly with this dish.
Sadly we can't get them here and I miss them.

Looks delicious and this is a must try!
Shrimp over here are usually rather small but this would go great with nephrops too :-)

Have a great day!
