Asian Chicken Noodle and Cabbage Salad

This is a new favorite salad.  It actually improves with age so you can make it a day in advance.
Use 2 packets of ramen noodles.  Discard the flavor packet. Cover them with hot water until they soften and then drain them.

For the dressing, mix 1 C. of vegetable oil, 1/2 C. sugar, 3/4 C. rice vinegar, 2 tsp. salt, 2 tsp. black pepper and 1 tsp. sesame seeds.  I added a couple tablespoons of sesame oil and some fresh cilantro too.

Thinly slice 1 head of cabbage and 1 red onion.  You can use green onions if you have them.

Brown 1/2 cup if sliced almonds in 2 T. of butter.

Add 2 cups of diced chicken.

The almonds should just be turning golden.

 Add several shredded carrots.

Toss it all together and serve it in big bowls.

Could you tell me what the 3/4 C ingredient is supposed to be? I'm assuming it's vinegar but not sure. Thank you!

From above:

" For the dressing, mix 1 C. of vegetable oil, 1/2 C. sugar, 3/4 C., 2 tsp. salt, 2 tsp. black pepper and 1 tsp. sesame seeds."
