Getting Ready for Fall

It's almost time to bake one of these, my daughter's favorite, a ghost cake.

 I've been decorating inside.

Redware makes me think of Fall.

 One of my favorite signs.

 My Octoberfarm mixer.

I got all of my Fall towels out.

My homemade vanilla extract in the crystal skull is very appropriate for this time of year.

Even my cooking utensils are seasonal.  So, come on weather, cooperate!!!  90 degree weather is not appreciated.

I LOVE your obsession with (and decorations for) Autumn. It's my favorite season too. I just asked my husband if he thought it was too early to put out an Autumn flag. I'd say, judging by your photos...it sure is NOT too early!!!

You are definitely in your element right now! :-) Love the fall decorations! Just yesterday, I purchased a new red/orange table runner and got out my ceramic pumpkin and leaf. At least, it's something.

Okay, have to say, the mixer is amazing. Did you paint it yourself? And if so, can I ask what paints did you use? I have a kitchenaide white mixer that would greatly benefit from a new look. That's awesome. Love your autumn decorating. Blessings, Bird
