Bread Baking Day

I bought Teddy a heater for the patio.  The older she gets, the fussier she is about the weather.  She sleeps in front of  fan all summer.  I was thinking about it and thought, I bet she would spend lots more time outside in the Fall and Winter if she had a heater.
It looks like I was right.  Within 15 minutes of turning it on, she was contently laying right under it.

It even has a little bar table on it in case she decided she wants a beer.

Today is a cold, rainy day so I thought that cranking my oven up to 500 degrees was a good idea.  I made more stecca http://octoberfarm.blogspot.com/search?q=stecca.

I also made one of the shelters favorite treats, cheese and olive bread. http://octoberfarm.blogspot.com/search?q=olive+cheese+bread

I made 100 pieces of it this morning.

It's so warm here now that I won't start a fire in the stove today. We sure have had a strange summer and autumn this year, instead od cold and rainy it has been dry all the time :-)
Yes we've had a few days with cold weather and frost but normally we should have had some snow by now. But I'm not complaining :-)

I can imagine that Teddy think it's nice with that heater :-) But concidering her thick fur it should be wafully hot for her :-)

Have a great day!
Christer.

I love Teddy's heater. She is a dog after my own heart. Maybe I need to get one of those. We have lots of sort of too cool weather all winter. That might make it easier to spend lots of time in the winter outside.

Oh my - that heater looks fancy - lucky girl, Teddy!

We are finally getting cold days and now all I want to do is eat comfort food. That's the only good thing about the summer - I lose weight because it's too hot to eat!

Teddy is so adorable. I'd sleep under that heat lamp myself. Chilly weather is a bit too much for my bones, too.

you are so smart, and such a good momma!
Teddy has a wonderful life! And her Mom sees she is comfy..plus everyone else around her. :) The bread looks ..well..just delicious!
My children have those on their patio's. They are so nice. They put them outside the Bakery in the wintertime for the customers that want to be out. They are so cozy. You guessed right about Teddy liking it. You can almost feel her total contentment in the lamps warmth.
Hugs,
Mona
