Another Day of Cooking

A short post today because I am heading to the shelter.  I made them some loaves of fruit and nut bread.

 Some regular sandwich bread.

Bean soup using the ham bones from the ham I made them for Christmas.

And Teddy helped!

Joyce, your fruit and nut bread looks delicious, have you posted this recipe prior? I'd love to try my hand at making this...Happy New Year to all...Julie. PS we are awaiting the arrival of another snow storm!
Bread looks delicious! My friend baked cranberry bread this morning and shared the recipe--so good. I'm not sure you could do all the cooking and baking without Teddy!

Now you have got me motivated, I am going to soak some beans to make bean soup tomorrow as it will be a rainy day and perfect for soup.

I can't believe how much you cook and how wonderful everything looks and must be. My husband would gladly come to live with you and your family. I think he'd be happy to just see me on the weekends as long as he was getting such wonderful meals most of the week. ;-)

Great cold weather food! The news is dread about the east coast weather! Please stay warm. I think you deserve a medal for all you do! The bread looks wonderful and nutritious!
