Christmas Baking

Just a short post today because I am very busy baking.  The repair guys were here for 3 hours on Wednesday repairing my oven and cooktop.  They fixed 2 burners on my cooktop and ran out of parts.

They put a new costly fan in my broken oven and told me it was good to go.  Thursday morning I got up in the middle of the night to bake and my oven was still broken. They can't come back here until next Wednesday to look at it.  So, I am struggling to pump out cookies in my one oven and am so behind I don't know how I will catch up.
 I need these guys.

Some stern complaining for lack of service re repair man is overdue. Bet you are miffed.
When our oven broke we had to buy a new one and the ovens are different measurements meaning new joinery was needed. So I hope they can repair your oven in the end. And like today!

For what those ovens cost you deserve better service. I don't know what has happened to customer service any more...

Too bad about Your oven! I hate it when repairmen say they fixed something and as soon as they are gone the thing just don't work!

I hope they at least fix it next time and that You manage to do things in time anyway!

Have a great day despite the problems.
Christer.

Looking forwards to see what you baked.

My heart goes out to you. The way you love to cook and the fact that it's almost Christmas which makes baking part of the traditional things to do. I can feel your stress. Getting items serviced is not like it used to be. Check when you get your bill, because if they didn't bring enough parts it's hardly your fault. You shouldn't get billed for a second house service call, along with your longer wait. Just something to thing about.
Here's to relaxing and not pushing yourself too hard. God bless you.
Your blogging sister,
Connie :)

I am right there with you. I have beautiful big double ovens that have not worked properly in over a year. SO disgusted with this whole "fix-it" process. xo Diana

Oh my gosh, if my oven were to break this week... and I don't know how you are going to do it, you bake so much!

I'm going to look at the peppermint marshmallow story and NOT MAKE THEM (I hope).

Your account with the repairman sounds familiar to mine

Perhaps this is a sign...time to put your feet up and give yourself a break...or perhaps Santa may need to bring you a new oven...We all know you have earned and deserve one...

The same thought occurred to me as did Dog Trot Farm - slow down, take a break. The universe may be sending you this messages. I hope that everything works out for you as you have such a good heart.

Good Grief! I think weird things were in the air. Yours is the second blog I'm reading with appliance issues. I just had a plain old BAD day!
