A Black and White Day

 The storm blew through and by morning we had only a few inches.  However, behind the storm came the arctic temps and we have -7 degrees.  It is so cold my snow melt system on the patio and driveway is barely working. This melted line is all it has managed to melt.

 Teddy went out and looked back at me and was like, it's cold out here mama!

 We went out last night and had a dicey time working our way down the mountain.

 We are going to warm up, strangely enough, for the next two days with rain on the way.

 Then the temps plummet and more ice, snow and frigid temps on the way.  Winter, how can you not love it?

Oh you DID get snow. I bet you are loving it. -7 I've never ever experienced sounds pure chilly.

You have more snow than I would like to have but I guess You would want more :-) -7! That's a bit too cold :-)

Isn't it strange that the weather always tend to switch like that, snow and nasty cold one day, then rain and warm for a day or two and then cold again so the roads become dangerous :-)

We just had a huge dump of rain and it's currently in the 40ies. Then Monday we are to get an Arctic blast and it will give us subzero temps.

We have cold temperatures here, too, and a bit of snow this morning, very unusual for us! It is the cold that is coming in on Monday night that is really going to work at setting a record low temperature!

BUUURRRR! Teddy is dressed just right for such chilly temps. She has such a beautiful warm fur coat - and PETA won't get after her for wearing fur like they did Beyonce. Keep those tootsies warm Teddy!

It was a sunny day here but never got up to freezing. You had a black and white day there for sure. I took color photos today but it was too cold to do a whole lot.

Oh yes, so cold and snowy and I love the b&w photos. I've been doing a lot of those myself these days. We're due for a foot of snow starting tomorrow. Weeeee!!! I love the snow... don't much care for cold, but love the snow. We've got all our supplies and are hunkering down getting ready for the blizzard.

Our schools and activities have been closed for monday because of the extreme cold and wind, this doesn't happen very often for us tough minnesotans, i went out and ran a few errands and am going to try your pizza maybe tomorrow! Hopefully it wont get to cold for teddy! Enjoy your weekend!
