Lamb Meatballs with Tzatziki in Homemade Pita

I made these for dinner a few days ago. They are a big favorite with my family.
Combine 1 pound of ground lamb,2 tsp. of diced garlic, 1 tablespoon of dried minced onion, 2 tsp. oregano, 2 tsp. of ground cumin, S&P and 1/4 C. bread crumbs.  Mix thoroughly.  I make this a day ahead of time and refrigerate it to let the flavors blend.

Form into small balls and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

I made some homemade pita.

I made your lamb balls last night and they were delicious! Didn't have any cucumber on hand so instead of tzatziki I made an avocado, lemon juice, and yogurt dressing with a sprinkling of dried mint. Yummy :)
