Dips for the Super Bowl

The shelter sets up a TV so the guys can watch the super bowl.  I promised I would bring them some food for the big game. I have been cooking for the last few days.  Interestingly, it's a bit tricky to make dips in large amounts.
I had to make this taco dip in my big Nesco slow cooker.  You can find the recipe for a normal size here:  http://octoberfarm.blogspot.com/2011/02/another-dip-recipe-for-super-bowl.html

This recipe works well in a slow cooker because there is lots of cheese in it.

8 quarts!  here is the link to the recipe which makes much less:  http://octoberfarm.blogspot.com/2013/07/bean-and-corn-salsa.html

For some reason they are hard to round up. The fats, etc. are not kind in big numbers.

That looks so yummy!

I have a workfriend that really wants to see the Super bowl but can't because it will be shonw late in hour time, he needs to be alert when driving to work when the roads are slippery as they are now.

Have a great day!
Christer.

I bet it is hard to make dip in larger quantities. Looks like you have a handle on it. The guys are going to love it, I know.

I've said it before and I'll say it again; there's a special spot in Heaven reserved just for you! You're an incredibly good soul. They're so very lucky to have you at the center.
