Ovens

Finally, the new ovens are in.
 Out with the old......

 In with the new.

A real clock.  I didn't realize how much I don't like digital until I saw this clock.

 Lots of room.

 Nice lights.

Lots of settings.  There is even a Sabbath mode in case I convert to Judaism.

There is a proof setting on the lower oven only, go figure.  I baked bread and rolls yesterday and was not thrilled with how they browned.  The installers are coming back today to check them out. I sure hope I don't have trouble with these.  I haven't cooked for the shelter in 3 weeks.  If you are thinking about a new oven, hold off if you are considering a Thermador.  I'll let you know what I think.

Good luck and happy baking with your new ovens - hope all goes well!
A thing of beauty and a joy forever! Love the Sabbath setting. It will save you from having to hire a Shabbas Goy, LOL!

They look great. Hope they work out. I have a hard time adjusting to new ovens- especially baking.

I hope things will adjust to please you. I don't think I've ever heard of a "Sabbath" setting.

oooh it does take time to get to know a new oven. Hope that is all that is wrong with your new one.

I sure love a real clock too!

The one thing I'll miss when we move is my LG range with double oven. It is stainless steel (never again) but the appliances at the new place are all white, so I am keeping the stove there. I'll miss that oven!

There is nothing quite like a new appliance to make me happy! You have a beauty there. ENJOY.

Very nice!

Do they do one with just a temperature dial and an on/off switch? I could work that one.

Good luck with them!

Have a great day!
Christer.
They are beautiful ovens..all the bells and whistles and I know how important they are in your day to day life, so I am hoping, hoping, hoping that they end up baking perfectly. You've certainly waited long enough. I hope they can fix any problem they might have in browning. Good luck! :) Will be waiting to hear.

I absolutely love them. Thermador is a fantastic brand--the best. And the real clock is the business. I too hate digital.
