Caesar Salad with Fusilli, Pears and Chicken

This recipe makes a good main dish salad.  I used chicken but you could use shrimp or salmon.
Mix lots of fresh lettuce with a sliced pear in a large bowl.  I used fresh lettuce from my garden.  Boil some fusilli pasta until al dente and add it to the lettuce.  Make your favorite Caesar dressing and toss the salad with it.

Divide between plates.

Sprinkle with cracked black pepper and Parmesan cheese.

Pan fry some chicken cutlets which have been seasoned with your favorite seasonings.

Slice the chicken and top the salads with it.  Serve with some crusty bread.
