I Love a Good Rain

A new addition to the collection! I could not resist. Does this mean I have started decorating for Halloween?
The worst of the storm missed us but we got enough rain that I did not have to water. Teddy took shelter under her umbrella.

No matter how much I water, the gardens always look best after a good rain.

 Tomatoes.

My urns are filling in nicely.
New stakes for the garden.

The glass balls light up at night.
 Lilies are about to bloom.

 Cherubs contemplating flowers.

A closeup. I always wish I knew the stories behind these vintage pieces I find.

Wet petunias.

We're waiting for the rain to come over here. I do hope it will come and that it's gentle because I planted my seedlings in the flower beds today.

I also brought out my tomato plants and placed them on the pario to get used to live outdoors and get some protectuion aginst the sunlight.

That first urn is just beautiful!

Have a great day!
Christer.

Plants always look best after rain because rain is full of Nitrogen and tap water isn't.

the witch is a beauty, I wonder how old it is, is it bronze?
I have been meaning to ask you if you groom Teddy yourself? I know she doesn't like strangers , she always looks so beautifully brushed and fluffy,

There is nothing like a genuine watering by falling rain!

We've been having some nice sunny days lately which is good for the goats. They really don't like rain

I love a good rain, too. I especially love it when the storm has passed and the sun comes out and set everything aglow. Have a great weekend- xo Diana

We had thunder this morning in London which was extremely exciting. I miss the summer thunder storms in Vermont. A good rain is cleansing but it does bring out the slugs & snails which are driving me crazy at the moment. My newly planted sweet peas are in peril. Your garden looks stunning.

A wonderful "new" witch. I wish we would get a good rain. I'm concerned about the fire season later this summer. We have been here 10 years and I don't remember such a dry June!

Love these pictures. We had so much rain earlier but it's quit now... wish it would just have a nice consistent pattern :)
