Lake Erie

 And the parade continues!

 Aliens wearing duck tape outfits.

 A souped up bug.

Take me to your reader.....the town library float.

They even decorated the town's big machinery.

This was a robot made by kids from a local school.

After the parade we took a drive by some lake houses.

What a view these homes have.

Most sit right on the edge of the lake.  You can see Lake Erie to the right of this home.

The British phone booth is cute.

I like the trim on this one.

Some of the houses are McMansions.

I like the really old homes.

This one has a light house.

This guy is building his own beach next to his house.

LOVE that lake side tour. It is always so much fun to see homes along the water. I like the old ones, too.

Gotta love those small town parades. Nothing in the world quite like them. xo Diana
Yes, small town parades are the best. Everything but the kitchen sink goes in them and gets paraded up and down the main street.

we have four small towns here within a 40 mile radius, every summer there are parades, I know they seem hokey to outsiders but to the town people they are very much a big deal, our kids took part in parades, either dressed up in costume or as Brownie Girl Guides or part of a float, I hope they never stop having parades, its a wonderful part of summer, you must have enjoyed this a lot, a great day out!

Love that two story yellow house with green shutters. The lake views are marvelous. All my life my dream has been to live in a small cottage by a lake. GREAT duct tape creations in the parade.
