I Am Not The Only One That Loves Fall

 Teddy can not seem to spend enough time laying on the front porch with the pumpkins.


 I never understand this behavior.  Does she feel like the pumpkins are her pack?

 Does she think the pumpkins camouflage her?

 A tourists stood in front of the gate for 20 minutes yesterday taking photos of her and she never moved.

I seriously think that she thinks no one can see her.

I'm not sure but I think she knows she is beautiful and is probably thinking " Thats right you silly humans, take photos,,, I am Queen of the Pumpkins,,,,

She thinks she is a celebrity...and she is!! Your porch looks so wonderful. Have been enjoying your festival posts and the peek into Chagrin Falls == a place I'd like to get to some day.

She's a star and she will naturally let all her admirers take photos of her :-)

She would vanish if You bought those pumpkins that havea lighter color :-)

I need to bring my pumpkins in today if they look ready, lots of butternut as well. Seeing all of your pumpkins reminded me about the pumpkin patch.

Oh how beautiful your home looks. I am wondering if the tourist was waiting to see if Teddy moved to make sure she was real. She blends so well with the autumn colors one might think she was part of the decorations.

I bet locals know your place and wait each year for your decorations. I'm surprized Teddy didn't bark at the tourist our dogs love to nut off at folks walking, biking past our place and even the meter reader phones to say he is outside the gate before coming in.

I agree with Laurie that Teddy fancies herself Queen of the Pumpkins. Maybe she thinks they are her groupies. I do appreciate that Teddy sat front & center rather than going for an asymetrical pose. You know you did a fantastic decorating job when people take photos of your home. I am surprised Teddy did not chase the woman off.
P.S.- Joyce, do you think you have enough pumpkins now?

Yep! The glorious front porch has appeared! Teddy's a hoot! From the back end she looks exactly like Mel.
