Christmas Kippels

This is how I spent my day yesterday.  Kippels are a labor of love.  They take time but they sure are worth it.  I have not eaten one xmas cookie so far but I will eat one of these eventually.  They are my favorites.

These actually get a bit better as they age.  Do you have a special family Xmas cookie that you make?  You can find the kippel recipe on my sidebar.

My Goodness! Those look DELISH! I need to try that recipe. I'm always looking for new cookie treats. Love looking for them on your blog.
Teddy looks like she loves those antlers. Is she going to try out for Santa's reindeer sleigh?

Teddy is so cute :-)

I can't say I have a favoirite cookie at Christmas, there are ao many to chose from :-) Sugar cookies are always a favorite and gingerbread of course. We have one kind of gingerbread that I never have been able to find the recipe to, they are quite thick and chewy and so yummy with s thick spread of butter and lots of cheese on too :-)

Have a great day!

Cute, cute Teddy! I've been able to refuse helping myself to the cookies I've been baking as I very quickly pack and store them in the freezer! Out of sight, out of mind. Ha!

All your cookies look so delicious. I don't make any exotic cookies at Christmas, but I like to make the same ones we made when I was a kid. So far I have made spritz, orange walnut balls, thumbprint with homemade raspberry jam & orange marmalade filling & candy cane snowballs. I made your eggnog cookie recipe yesterday. I had one before frosting them & it had the best eggnog flavor & wonderful texture of all the eggnog cookie recipes I have tried over the years.

My favourite has always been my mom's shortbread - which is my grandmother's shortbread - which is her mother's shortbread...

All these cookies are making me hungry!

You must be a saint, my dear. NOT one bite of any cookie throughout this entire baking marathon. You have willpower. I have never heard of kippels. They look yummy.
