I am still making Indian food and this is an excellent and very popular recipe with my Indian eating friends. I like to make these recipes using Indian butter.
Made in India.
The ingredients:
Add the garlic, ginger and jalapeno and cook for a few minutes. Add the spices and cook until aromatic. Add the tomato paste.
Smash it down and let it cook until it starts to get crusty on the bottom.
It will become somewhat drier.
Stir in the tomatoes and scrape up anything stuck on the bottom. That's where all the flavor is.
Add the chick peas. Stir and simmer for about 5 minutes.
Just before serving, squeeze in 1/2 a lemon.
Add a handful of diced fresh cilantro.
