Photos From the Event

I thought I would show some photos of the food at the event.  It was a huge success and we didn't run out of food.  People got to take some home with them.  Here is the grisini with prosciutto. I wasn't there and these were taken with a phone so excuse the quality.

These were the biggest hit of the night..go figure!  These are just crackers spread with boursin cheese and pepper jelly.  They are so very easy and so very good. The platter in the back is smoked salmon spread on crackers with fresh dill.

Pasta cups.

Crudite and dip.
One of the meat platters. Click for a closer look.

Ham sliders and meatball cups.

I've been told it was a huge hit.  I was in bed!

My goodness, Joyce - it all looks positivly marvellous! what is a ham slider? I am sure that anything with ham is just delicious! And what are your conclusions about catering for this number of people? You did it so well.
Everything looks delicious and I enlarged the photo, naturally!
Your daughter did a great job putting it together. Had I been there I would not have left that buffet for a second...and you've seen movies where people have sneakily put things in their handbags? Yep. That you would been me! Think I'm kidding? Yeah..I am..but I would have had my share, you can bet on that! I mean what is so blasted interesting that they could look the other way with that KINGS FEAST behind them. Of course I've never been accused of being a "LADY" either. LOL
(I think I need more sleep! :)
GREAT JOB!!

You must be absolutely exhausted after all the work you did for this event. The variety of tasty bites you prepared looks amazing. If I had been there I would have wanted to try each & every item. Your family did a great job of arranging all the food & making each dish look attractive. You really outdid yourself this time Joyce & you should be very proud of what you accomplished. The beautiful food you contributed to the event is a big part of the reason it was such a huge success.

You are seriously amazing, doing all this by yourself! Not only does it look scrumptious, it is also BEAUTIFUL. My father was a chef, and I never tried to learn a thing from him, i regret that. Cooking really can be an art, and you are an artist. jeri
