Hotter Than Hell

 I've had it with Summer.  Today we are going to be almost 100 degrees. It seems all I do is water. I dream of pumpkins while I soak my shriveling tomatoes.

 The beginning of school is on the horizon.

 Time to bake pumpkin cookies and drink apple cider.

 Maybe I will decorate my street.

 Teddy has had it with the heat too. Fur coats are not fun in 100 degree heat.

 What's that you say?  Treats help you stay cool.

Okay....take a treat and chill out.

Poor Teddy. I have the puppies inside all day long except for bathroom breaks and chasing the cats from our yard (they get a kick out of scaring the cats). Weather channel and the local weathermen are saying 30% chance of rain for Friday. BWAAAHAHAHAHAAAHAHAHAAAAA!

Wow, I LOVE those witch hats over the street!! I wonder if they have hats at the dollar store I could use??? We're slated for miserable heat here too - 94 degrees today and tomorrow, an insane temp for coastal northern California.

Yes, it's hot girl. We've been hot for a couple of weeks now with temperatures close to and over 100, add in the heat index and were around 109 - 112 degrees. Stay cool, and keep watering your plants.
I know you're getting ready for the next holiday coming up with decorating.
You always have nice decorations all setup.

Give Teddy an nice rub behind her ears!!!

I am pretty much done with summer too. We had a few heatwaves, it was hot and sunny, now I've had my share and I can wait until May-June 2016. I hate to rub it in, but these last few days have been rather cool. Sometimes rainy, not always, but with a gentle breeze. It feels like summer may be on its way to end.

Oh and I WANT to try those pumpkin cookies.

Poor Teddy! It is way too hot. We are in for another heat wave!! Temps for the next WEEK in the high 80's and often getting into the low 90's. I'm with you SUMMER GO AWAY!!!!!

October weather is just around the corner. Those hats decorating the street add some Halloween magic to the air. those pumpkins look mighty good. TEDDY stay inside where it is cool.

Oh my gosh! I'm feeling hot just looking at poor Teddy. I thought 91 was bad, but 100? Arrrghhh! I'm so sorry. I'd be dreaming about fall too.
