Guest Pizza

I bought this t-shirt for my daughter, it seemed appropriate.

Teddy has not been well.  She has had horrible diarrhea and hasn't eaten much in 3 days. I have no idea what is wrong.  She has spent most of her time laying on her spot on the floor in front of the fan. See the fan blowing her fluffy butt?  Believe me, this is a very good thing these days!

I made pizzas for my house guests.  Here is the dough recipe:

Pour 2 cups of water into your mixer bowl.  Add 2 T. sugar, 4-1/2 tsp. rapid rise yeast, 2 T. olive oil and 2 tsp. of salt. Add 5 cups of flour and knead until you have a smooth ball of dough.

Cover and let it rise until doubled, about 1 hour.

After it rises, divide it into thirds and spread each piece out onto a piece of parchment paper.

Spread the dough with pizza sauce.  Top with some mozzarella cheese.

I added some green pepper from my garden and some mushrooms.  Then sprinkle it with some provolone cheese and some grated parmesan.  I also sprinkled on some Italian seasoning. I added some strips of pepperoni too.

Bake them at 500 degrees for about 15-20 minutes.

The crust should be crisp and the cheese should start to turn golden.  It also shouldn't be blurry!

Poor baby girl. The heat could be giving her system hell.
Pizza and lasagna are my two most favorites. I could eat them all the time if David would let me.

I need that tee shirt only mine would say pizza instead of tacos. These look awesome. Detoxing big time so have to wait a while to try these, unless I do a GF crust (not the same though :-(. ). I feel bad for your poor puppy. Maybe give her some rice, and a little mashed banana? I had diarrhea for three and a half weeks. Not fun and leaves you drained. No clue, unless it was massive amounts of yeast dying off in my body! Ugh!

Pizza looks great! A cute shirt, my DD could also use one of those. Sure hope Teddy is well soon. She is so smart to just hang out by the fan!

That's a pizza in my taste :-)

I hope Teddy gets better! It can be that it's just too hot for her. I always give my dogs boiled fish with rice when their stomachs give up like that.

I wonder how I could miss this post yesterday?

Have a great day!
Christer.

All your friends must be wanting to come and visit knowing you are such an incredible hostess. That looks scrumptious. I'm so sorry Teddy isn't feeling well.
