Zoar Vendors

There were a lot more vendors at Zoar this year than there have been in several years.  I was happy to see this because last year there were so few that I thought they might end the festival.
These birds reminded me of my friend Kary because I bought her one the year before she died.

This set was fabulous.  I sure wish I had somewhere to put it but I don't.

 Hand woven baskets.

I was so tempted but I took a pass.

If you've ever hooked a rug you know how much work went into these.

 Noah's arks.

 These were precious.

I walked by here mumbling:  Please God don't let me buy any redware.  I have a redware addiction.

 More rugs.

Handmade furniture.  This piece was wonderful.

All of these are hand carved.

Paintings.

 Birdhouses.
Please God don't let me buy any brooms.  I have a broom problem too.  Tomorrow I will show you some of the town.

In case you haven't noticed, there are only 88 days until Halloween.  Fall festival season is underway and I hope to be attending lots of them on the upcoming weekends so hopefully I will have lots of photos to post.

that was a wonderful selection of goods.

I was wondering about the brooms, are purely decorative or are they useable, for sweeping, lol, not flying, lol,

Hand woven baskets? Really? I have never seen baskets that are not mass produced!! It is a good thing we don't have such markets here, I would have been broke!
Thank you for your sweet words!! Many blessings to you and yours!

My Goddess! That looks like what we call Trade Days. Trade Days starts in September and goes on through November. It's usually the 2nd week in each month in the fall. I can't wait to see what we have this year.

What a lot of great things! While I love the NW, you just don't see things like that out here and those are the kind of things I love! I will enjoy the entire season of photos!!!

I always like to see photos from that Fair! I guess the economy in the USA is so much better now that more people want to buy things now :-)

Looking forward to more photos!

Have a great day!

Oh I love so many things, especially the pumpkinheads figures! It is good that they are already heralding harvest.

Oh gosh! I haven't been to one of these in ages and ages. We used to love going to them. Brooms?

Paintings, hooked rugs... I'm getting the fall things out starting tomorrow!
In case I hadn't noticed that it is only 88 days away?..but of course I have! I have begun to appreciate even the seasons that have never been my favorites, probably because of getting older and everything is becoming more precious. Fall and Winter...I'm already planning. My new Fall florals are already on the front door. I couldn't help it..I know I'm pushing things but I couldn't wait.

That table and chairs...SO different..so detailed.
Just beautiful! I enlarge every single picture..and check each tiny thing... It's the closest I will be to something like that. Wonderful!!
