A Festival in the Woods

I had a goal in mind when I headed out to this wonderful festival held up in the mountains.

Black Smith.  Very authentic except for the cherry Fanta soda.

 He was making cooking utensils.

These boys were roasting coffee over an open fire.

These little ladies were selling their apple butter and homemade bread.

Almost every vendor had a fire burning.  It smelled heavenly.

 Sauerkraut making.

A tee pee made out of bark and branches.

 Bird feeders made from gourds.

 Long rifles.

 Woven rugs.

Tole painting.
A cider press.
I'll show the rest of the photos tomorrow and show you what I bought.

The smell of roasting coffee early in the morning is probably the best smell in the world :-)

I've never heard of apple butter, I must check what it is!

I would have bought one of those rugs, I have none left :-)

They sell those apple cider press's here too now days. Thgis year is a lost apple year but perhaps I should buy one for next year?!

Looking forward to more photos!

Have a great day!

Christer.
