Lasagna

I upgraded my computer and now everything is different and it is giving me fits.  This is why my posting has been spotty the last few days.  I posted these photos and never edited them.  Oh well, I will catch on eventually.  I made this lasagna to give to friends a couple days ago.
I made a meaty sauce with hot sausage and ground beef.  The key to lasagna is a good sauce and flavored ricotta.  I always mix my ricotta with Parmesan cheese, herbs, garlic and a couple raw eggs. Place a layer of noodles, a layer of sauce, a layer of Provolone cheese, and then a layer of ricotta.

Continue layering and finish with sauce and then a sprinkling of Asiago cheese.

Bake this at 375 degrees for about 40 minutes.  Turn the oven down to 325 degrees and continue cooking until the juice is bubbling around the edges.  Bake this on a cookie sheets because it will bubble over.

Let it rest for 30 minutes before serving.

You can cut this into individual servings and freeze it.  I always make extra sauce for serving it.

Is there anythging more yummy than a good lasagna? So delicious but so easy to make and it's actually the only thing the restaurant from where we order food at work they never fail when making :-)

It's always a pain in the ... when one has upgraded the computer!

Have a great day!

Christer.

You make me crave lasagna. I haven't had one in... weeks, actually. Last time it was cooked by my godson's mother. Delicious. I'd like to try this recipe.

Provolone, heh? Never tried that. I always use mozzarella. Yours looks fabulous and I'm sure it tastes good, too.

Forget all those fancy restaurants -- I would rather have a meal you made! :)
