Italian Beef and Pasta

I made this for the after school kids yesterday.  At this point I think I have mastered cooking for a crowd.  If you ever need recipes to feed lots of people, this is the place to visit.  This was a very tasty dish.
 ingredients:
  • 2 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 15 oz. marinara sauce
  • 15 oz. diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Red pepper flakes to taste
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lb. cavatappi cooked al dente
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
  • 1½ cups Mozzarella cheese, shredded
This recipe will feed 8 people.  I quadrupled it.

It tastes like a hearty bolognese.

If you don't want chunks of tomato, just add the equivalent of tomato sauce.

It's also a good way to use up cheese.  I had a bunch of different hard cheeses that I grated and added along with the Parmesan.

I put it in the Nesco slow cooker to keep it warm after it was done cooking.

I wish the restaurant we order food from at work could ask You how to cook because they don't seem to understand that only because one use spices it doesn't need to be hot. I started to complain and others followed so I hope there will be achange soon!
This looks delicious!¨

Have a great day!
