Thrift Shop Glass

One of the things we will be doing for the wedding is setting up a candy buffet. Click on pics for a closer look.

For months now I have been hitting thrift stores looking for glass pieces we can use.

Yesterday was the day to clean it all and pack it away until the big day.  It's amazing what you can find out there.  I don't think I paid more than 2.00 for any single piece.

Yes glass is for some reason always cheap, I thought I would go to the closest thrift store to find some nice glasses too. I don't know why but I always am short of any kind of glass.

Have a great day!

Christer.
They will show off all the coloured candy so well!

The Salvation Army Thrift Store is my guilty pleasure. I need almost nothing, but I get such joy from just looking at others' castoffs.

What marvelous finds. You have some lovely pieces there. Perfect for a wedding. Thrifting Threads and Things is my new blog and I love going out and about in search of things I need. It's fun to just look too. And the prices are great.

I'm a glass fool. One look around our yard, porch, pantry and home proves it!

Good finds.
