The Bridal Shower

Yesterday was the bridal shower. It was a perfect (hot) day.

I painted the wrapping paper for my gift.

It's a fun way to personalize a present.

The brides wore rhinestone earrings!
I made a huge meat and cheese patter and lots of French bread.

 A weird angle.

 Tea and tea cakes.
The cheesecakes stayed in the fridge until they were ready to be served so they wouldn't melt.  It was a fun day.

Lovely setup. Food looks scrumptious. That painted package was clever and beautiful. A wonderful shower, for sure.

The type of shower I like, small and intimate. I am tired of being invited to bridal showers for a hundred, really! Bridal and baby showers should be in homes not huge halls. it looks like the guests were fed well too, as expected.
