Warm Blankets for Cold Days

 Remember this basket I bought at a festival recently.  I wasn't sure what I was going to do with it.  Then I had this idea.

 I filled it with vintage wool lap blankets and put it at the guest house for visitors to use when they are sitting outside roasting marshmallows.  These blankets were very popular back in the 50's era of raccoon coats and fans waving pendants at football games.  Most of them never left the plastic bags they came in and others were probably only used a couple of times. You can find them on ebay.  You can find everything on ebay.

And since they are wool, they are very warm.
