Winnie

Six more days until we are all out of puppy prison.  I am tired of climbing over barriers that block all of the stairs.  Winnie's post-op onesie has been a god sent for recovery though we have forgotten to unsnap it three times which results in her wetting her pants.  You would think you would only make that mistake once, but no....we've done it three times.

Each time, we have to pull the thing off and put another one on which is sort of like squeezing her into a deflated balloon.  She can't be bathed yet so we have to wash her with wet towels.  She is a trooper.  She just stands there and lets us do whatever needs to be done.  I have to remind myself constantly that she is truly a chow chow. We hit the chow chow lottery with this one!  She, however, didn't exactly win  the parent lottery with us.

It's only because she's so patient that You forget it three times. If she hadn't been You would have remembered it :-)

Only six more days and then she's free and so are You in a way :-)

Have a great day!

Christer.

Onesies are great! My GS had surgery and can you imagine a big black and tan GS in a pink onesie! But it was sure better than the cone! Hope Winnie gets well soon!

You have sold yourself short my dear. You are a wonderful parent and have proved it over and over since you became her new mommy. Winnie looks so cute in that onesie. In the first picture, she looks like a tiny lion stuck in a tube. I can hear her saying get me outta this, MOM!!

I had a business making dog shirts, cheerleading outfits and such. I have never heard of dog onsies, but that was long ago.

She hit the lottery too..... You and your hubby are wonderful chow parents. She's a lucky girl.

I do love her pose sitting in the last picture. She is such a cutie, I just want to hug her and give her belly rubs.

Have a great week.
