April Weather


 Our weather has been so strange this year, to say the least.  This is my Fall Flowering Cherry last Friday in 85 degree weather.

 Here it is on Monday morning.

 Then yesterday there was constant snow the whole day.

In all the years I've had this tree, I don't remember ever having snow when it bloomed.  I do remember very cold and rainy Memorial Days many years ago.  I wonder if this will be one of those years.  Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining.  I am a cold weather lover and would like this weather all year long! Even if it gets warm, Labor Day is only a little over 4 months away!  Don't be hatin'!

That's usually our April weather :-) Summer one day winter the next or if we're unlucky winter all through April :-) :-)

Cherry trees always look so dainty when they bloom. I remember one spring my dad and mom took us to Washington DC to go sightseeing. The cherry trees were so pretty. Like dainty lace doilies from far away.

Cherry blossoms and snow just aren't suppose to go together. but you put things in perspective reminding us when labor day is.
