True Love

If everyone cared about each other the way Winnie cares about her boy, the world would be a better place.

Though she sees him at the same time every day, in the same spot, it never grows old.

It is a 5 minute lovefest.

She makes sure to show him her luvs.
 And then she settles in.

 And falls asleep.

Notice that her back feet are curled up under his legs. Click for a closer look.
 Winnie got groomed yesterday.

Though she is mostly full grown, she is still only as tall as the lower panel on the kitchen door.  She is a small chow chow for sure.

She is just precious! And truly, the love of a dog is such a gift.

Looks like your groomer finally 'got' it about the proper way to groom a chow chow. She looks gorgeous! It is very obvious that she adores her boy. What a lovely morning ritual.

Wow! You can see she has grown when she is standing on her back legs and kissing the Blog Tech. She has grown but she's still such a cute little girl.

She is mostly a blur in the first pictures. No wonder she needs a nap since she probably wore herself out. It is cute how she is so excited then settles down to sleep contentedly.
Fresh from the beauty salon and looking gorgeous!

I love that your son comes by to see her every day! My eldest lives a thousand miles away, and my youngest is in college. But there is nothing like a boy and dog reuniting, no matter the age or the time apart. It's incredible. The dogs get hugs before I do! And my youngest frequently drops to his knees on his way to class to give full-body hugs to random big dogs. Afterward he may or may not introduce himself to the dog owner, depending on how late for class he'll be. I'm hoping that's how he'll meet the love of his life. But there is certainly no rush!
