I made a hardy breakfast for the guests yesterday. They had never tasted Scotch eggs, maple bacon or sage sausage before. I made local ham and Canadian bacon too.
They also had never had Fat Sparrows with local maple syrup. They won't forget these soon!
And just in case they were missing home cooking, I sent them some Brazilian rice and beans for an afternoon snack. This morning they are getting cinnamon buns.
