Playtime

I finally took the plunge and let the W's play together off leash.

Most of it is a big furry blur.

They chase each other at breakneck speed.

And then there is a lot of this.

A lot of mane munching goes on.

And Winnie just loves to flip Willie on his back.

They are still both puppies and like to play hard.  The problem is, Winnie is 4X the size of Willie.

I monitor them closely and there are always a few yelps.  On both sides!

Sometimes Winnie is very gentile, sometimes not so much.

I suppose they will eventually learn how to play together.  Cooler weather might help too.

Meanwhile, if Willie survives this part, he will end up being one tough little guy!

if Willie grows into those mammoth feet the tables will soon turn,, but by that time Winnie will already be the boss so it should all be harmonious,, at least it sounded good when I typed it lol,,
As long as fur isn't flying it must be good, right? :)
It will be just fine. I watch my daughter’s new puppies play and there is a lot of yelping and jumping and getting each other down. Even though there is a lot of noise going on, they are having fun.

I am glad you finally let them "just work it out". I have had to introduce many cats and dogs to each other. I have never been too protective, as long as you are there, they usually develop there own hierarchy.

Well, out of the "fur blur" I could see what was two cute puppies having a ball of a time outside. Letting them run around outside is so much fun for them and you too.

Males will scuffle and roll around with females but let the female "win.
Of course, it appears Willie has not choice at this moment.

Winnie may get 'pay back' one of these days. Went that way with two cats we had. The first one in the house, thought she was queen and was a little rough on the second one until he out weighed her. lol Karma's a b. lol

Oh that is sweet.
Looking good :-)
They will occasionally get angry at each other but it'll pass. Soon they've figured out how things will work between them and lots of treats usually helps a lot :-)

Have a great day!

Christer.

the only way to get them to play together is to let them have at it. you're off to a great start.
