What Can We Do To Get Rid of Trump?

I know the present political situation feels overwhelming and hopeless at times.  We all wonder, what can we do? I have faith that the spirits will step in and work their magic and perhaps The Donald will choke on a Chick Fil A and our problem will be solved.  Unfortunately, he probably has someone pre-chewing his food for him these days.  What we can do is VOTE.  Not like we normally vote; we need something more this time.
We need to organize the vote.  This doesn't have to be a huge task to take on and you don't need to put a lot of effort into it.  If we make it easy and manageable, everyone can do it.

So let's do this, let's each be responsible for our own families.  Plan a DUMP THE TRUMP party for Tuesday, November 6, 2018.

Take it on yourself to make sure that everyone in your family votes.  Drive them, push them in wheel chairs, carry them on your back if you have to but get them out to vote.  And then reward them afterwards with a few drinks and a bit of food.  Be proud that you have done this collectively.  Enlarge the group to your neighbors and coworkers if possible.  Just make sure you get some people, other than yourself, to vote.  Go as a group and be proud Americans. Take our country back!

Trump won the electoral vote but would have lost that if more people had voted.  So, no excuses...collect everyone you can and make it your duty to get them to the polls.

excellent post!!!!
I hope to be working the polls again this year. Last year, when the election was about local politics, we had one of the largest turnouts and most of the winners were women and first-timers. There is hope.

I'm going to try! Granted, most of my family is back home in Colorado while I'm stuck on the East Coast, so I can't invite them to a little party, but hopefully I can talk them into it over the phone. :)
Yes it is scary how few people votes in Your country and I can't understand the thing where You have to register to be able to vote, It is my birth given right to vote over here, so as long as one has had ones 18th birthday before the election day one is able to vote.

Thank you for this post. And please keep it up! I am really scared about what is happening in our country. And I worry about the repercussions even after he is gone.
Thank you!!!

Most excellent post, my dear. I especially like that last meme. Many of the people complaining about king angry cheeto are the ones that didn't go vote.

I am from Canada although was born in the USA have never lived there except the first 6 months of my life - but that technically makes me an American Citizen - and most in Canada and the world couldn't agree more. Please get out and vote! Hoping he will choke on a chicken nugget or chocolate cake isn't working anymore (but yes, we can still hope). He is making the USA #1 enemy of every other country in the world and also the laughing stock at the same time

Doug Jones defeated Roy Moore (10 commandments guy) to become a Democratic senator from AL. They worked hard at getting out the vote.

Please continue your fight, as you are speaking for so many, and never ever feel alone, for WE THE PEOPLE are here! Goddammittttt! Your friend, Nora

That's the only way to get rid of him, although I fear Trump might get reelected in 2020 for the same reasons he got elected in 2016. And I doubt this time impeachment will work as he has too many sycophants in the GOP.

Right there with you!!! Since he tends to like Mickey D's, one could hope that America's burger would do him in! And you're so right, now, more than ever, we all need to V-O-T-E!!!

Hi love your blog, never comment, but couldn't agree more. I love that more high school seniors are getting involved. My daughter is 14 and rallying people at her school. This next election is extremely important for woman more than ever.

I can see I'm in the minority here but I (respectfully) disagree. Has he made mistakes, most certainly. Is he perfect? No, not at all. But the economy is going well, the military is being treated better, the borders are being addressed more seriously. He's gotten more NATO nations to step up to meet their obligations for defense spending and to stand up to Iran. I'm just saying that I think you should give him a chance. I think it's disgraceful and frightening the way some people are treating his supporters. We all have the right to our opinion and I shouldn't be afraid to voice mine, but I am. I think that's sad. Just my feelings and I wonder how many more of your readers feel the same way.
