Game of Thrones Food

For the final season of Game of Thrones, I am making special food for my kids to eat while they watch each episode.  I try to make something "cold" and something "hot" each time.  This cake is The Wall.  It's a carrot cake.

Served with dragons of course.

I made these chicken legs too:

Recipe:

  • 2 12 lbs chicken legs
  • 1 23 tablespoons olive oil
  • 12 cup soy sauce
  • 1 23 tablespoons ketchup
  • 34 cup honey
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang (optional)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Place chicken in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Mix together the oil, soy sauce, ketchup, honey, garlic, salt and pepper, ginger and gochujang.
  3. Pour over the chicken.
  4. Bake in preheated oven for one hour, or until sauce is caramelize.
  5. The meat should be falling off the bone.

*These are delicious!

Today is Willie's 1st birthday!!!  My baby boy isn't so little anymore.

They grow too fast!

Happy birthday Willie!

I watched the last episode of Game of Thrones tonight. I love the idea of Game of Thrones food. Have something like you cooked and baked for our next Dungeons and Dragons gaming session, whenever that will be.

Wow, very nice and delicious food tips you have shared. It seems like you're a cook freak person. I really like your passion and efforts. However, the photos you have shared are very mouthwatering. It is obvious that the photographer took the photos very carefully. However, I’m working with different photo retouching platforms. Thanks for sharing. Keep going.photoretouching
