My days are now devoted to watching this munchkin 24/7. I just won't use the cone of shame because #1, they are awful and #2, they are far too hot for chows. Wils actually enjoys his built in pillow. The problem is, he can still scratch his eyes so I can barely take mine off of him. To be honest, he seems to understand that he can't scratch but I'm not taking chances. Look at his skinny little shaved leg. A lot of him is fluff!
Winnie seems to understand that her brother has a booboo and can't play. She is not happy. But, she too has been a very good girl. Two more weeks of this and we shall all be free!!!
It's been really hot here and these two get very thirsty. Good thing I put stone floors in this place. Laying on them keeps them cool too.
I am winding down my cooking with ramps. I am running out😞. That's what makes them special, the season is very short.
This is a ramp and grilled cheese sandwich with ham on salt rise bread.
Ramp chowder with Appalachian sweet bread. This sure was good. I will tell you more about sweet bread soon and post a recipe. This is a new recipe for me and it couldn't be easier. It's also one of the best things I've come across in quite a while.

Cold here and it seems to snow all over the country now, it's still too warm for it to stay thankfully but an hour ago I couldn't see the mountain because of all snow falling there, nothing here thankfully :-)
