Quarantine Day #69, And The Garden Grows

Winnie checks out the gardens for movement.  Look out bad kitties, the chow chows are on the prowl!

Willie says that he wants to play with some bad kitties too.  These two get groomed tomorrow for the first time in over two months.  They need it.

 The giant hostas are....GIANT.

There is no getting rid of strawberries.  You think you've dug them all out but no, they return and laugh at you.  However, the pups have worn a path right through the middle of them so at least they won't grow there.

Newly planted ostrich ferns and hostas amongst the old-timers.

We've been working on cleaning out the ponds.  We might get the system running today.

Before the wedding, I will have power washed every boulder in this woods.

We are slowly planting this hillside with perennials.

We've planted hundreds of sedums along here.

A peek of the guest house through the garden doors.

The view from the other side.  I have to power wash these doors and stain them.

Everything down here needs to be power washed.

When we add the addition on to the guest house we will lose the katsuras in the back of this pic.  I hate to see them go but the addition will make it worth losing them.

Back up the path to the top.

The creek bed is dry.  I sure hope this is remedied today.

 Ha!  A woodland creature.

The other one is down below laying in his favorite spot.

I'm standing under the weeping beech as I snap this pic.

 And this one.

This one too...what a canopy.  This is actually when the woods and gardens look their best.  Soon it will be a jungle.
