
Cream 2 sticks butter with 3/4 C. light brown sugar and 3/4 C. white sugar

Add 1 T. vanilla and beat 1 minute

Transfer this mixture to a glass bowl and microwave for 25 seconds

The mixture should look like this and should be melting in areas. Return this to your mixing bowl.

Add one egg and beat for 20 second and then add the second and beat for 20 seconds more.

Mix in 1 tsp. of baking powder

And 2 cups of flour

The mixture should look like this.

Then add a bag of butterscoth pieces.

Add 2 handfuls of toasted pine nuts mixed with 1 T. sea salt and 1 tsp. of cracked black pepper. Don't skip the pepper. It adds a unique and special flavor.

Mix until uniform

Finished dough should look like this.

Drop walnut sized balls on cookie sheets and bake in a 375 degree oven for 12 minutes.

They should be crunchy on the edges and chewy in the middle.

Then get a glass of milk and eat as many as you can!
