Fireworks

Here are some shots of the fireworks that were set off in front of my house on the 4th.  Just in case you didn't get to see any on Wednesday or if you happened to be in San Diego, haha!

The Blog Tech took these.  I never actually saw them.

When you get up at 4:00am, staying up until the sun goes down to see these is not an option.

Plus this city loves fireworks and sets them off at the drop of a hat.

I am not a big fan of watching noisy things explode so I gladly slept through them.
Unlike my last chow, Teddy is not fazed by them.

So we sleep peacefully as this goes on right in front of my bedroom window.

I did spend the entire next morning cleaning beer bottles out of my yard.

I would like to say that it will be another year until this happens again.  Unfortunately, it will probably happen again this Saturday night.

Those are the best pictures I have ever seen of fireworks! Just incredible!

Do you get up at 4 am EVERY DAY?

Wow! I would grab a chair and watch these. I am so glad Teddy is not fazed by them. The fireworks in photo #7 looks like a heart to me. xo

I cannot believe you sleep through these fireworks!! That is so good that Teddy is not bothered by fireworks, my Sheltie, Gwennie, is terrified of them and thunder. What morons these people are to throw bottles and trash in your yard, that is really awful!!

Great pictures. It is good to hear that Teddy doesn't mind the fireworks. Most of the dogs we have owned specially our little Chorkies hated them. That is awful about the mess that was left behind. =/ I love watching the fireworks though from a far away from the crowd.

I have the attitude toward fireworks. A shame about the beer bottles. I honestly don't know what people are thinking these days.
I tried the sourdough bread recipe you posted earlier, and the loaves are in the fridge now, waiting to be baked tomorrow .I can't wait to try them!

i LOVE fireworks. the Blog tech took some awesome photos. Glad Teddy wasn't scared. Our kitties run and hide when the neighbors shoot them off.
Yeah, those poor buggers in San Diego, eh?

Fantastic photographs of the fire works! It is difficult to take good photographs of fire works but these are just perfect!

I do enjoy fire works but I'm glad I live in an area where it is forbidden. The cattle would go crazy here if they started to shoot rockets up in the air and Hector would too. He doesn't mind the flashes of light but he hates the sound.

Have a great day!

Great pictures, not so great about the beer bottles. My big dogs hate fireworks because they think it's gun shots and start guarding, but the little ones couldn't care less. Someone let some off here, but since it's daylight all the time, I don't know how good the show was! LOL. A lot better when it's dark outside ;)
Blog Tech took some darn good photo's. We don't bother to go watch them either. I thought it was our age...so..I feel a wee bit better to know youngun's like you don't either. :)

Beautiful pictures !!
I can imagine you get fed up when it happens all the time. We only have fireworks on new years eve, so I don't get easily bored with fireworks and these look fantastic.
I'm only sorry to hear you had to clean up other people's trash. That is something they should have done themselves !!
I'm glad Teddy doesn't mind the fireworks. My dog isn't impressed either, but the cats.... that's a whole different story ; )
Have a great day.
