Snow

There is really nothing like fresh from the farm eggs.  I went to my local coop the other day and found a wonderful selection.  We have been happily eating these fried with country ham and black eyed gravy each morning for breakfast.

This is why Teddy likes her umbrella so much.  It makes a dry spot for her when it rains or snows.
She was not budging this morning.   She has had it with winter.

It looks too cold out there for me mama!

I am not going out there today.
I am staying inside and chillin' with my bunny.

Oh, yum! Country ham and fried eggs! That is a real Southern staple for breakfast! Our cat doesn't touch the ground when it is as cold as it has been here this winter, only going outside when the sun is shining and the temperature out of the forties - which hasn't been very often of late.
3rd picture down... Love the little (iron maybe?) Toad Stools, which keep your broom, from slipping down/forward.

:-)))

Teddy is very lucky that her Mama leaves the back door open for her. So she can gaze out, at where she will not go. Except in 'potty emergencies.' ,-)

Aren't fresh eggs so wonderful? I just love that you have your own. I can't wait for us to get to that point but for now, I'll just relish in the neighbors sharing their lovely eggs with us. :-)
Teddy has a mind of her own. She knows her Momma will look out for her.

Country ham and eggs and biscuits. yumyum! for sure.

Teddy is a smart giorl and I so understand why she doesn't want to go outside in the snow :-)

Snow over here today too, just when the roads finally were ok again!

Have a great day!
Christer.

Teddy has the right idea! I have never see chicken eggs that greeny colour, they look quite odd. Have a good day. Diane

Yup. We agree with Teddy. We are SO OVER winter. I chuckled at your comment about Teddy at day care. I could just see her now.....probably would not last!
Nothing like fresh eggs! Love, that last photo too! So darn cute!

OK Teddy, you and your bunny are too cute for words. We got a little more white stuff too... Gotta love March, she can never make up her mind. Eggs look great! I cannot wait for fresh eggs from my hens again this spring. I've missed it.
