Christmas Cookie Platters

Yesterday was cookie platter making day. I made 13 of these.

Each platter holds over a hundred cookies.

They are filled to overflowing.

They are all wrapped in cellophane with pretty silver ribbons and bows.

There are about 20 varieties of cookies and tarts in each one.

And this year, everyone got a keepsake ornament!  I have another dozen platters to make this morning and then I am done with cookies for this season...until Valentine's day.

Where did you find the ornaments? I collect Santa ornaments for one of my trees and I'd love to get this too. Thanks! Jenni in Austin

You're so generous with your baking! I love how you present all of it, the Santa is a good one!

Wow, that's a lot of cookies! And such a nice presentation. Every time I see mixed cookie plates, I think of my Dad. He did not like having different cookies in the same container. He appreciated the thought and effort, especially if home baked, but he hated... perhaps very disappointed is a better word... that they all tasted the same. Now I know why Mom kept them all in separate containers when she made multiple kinds at once. One year he fed most to a squirrel which repaid him with some sugar fueled antics racing around the back yard and falling off the fence.
