A Witch's Kitchen

The grunt work is done on my guest house redo and the fun is about to begin.  I have always wanted a true witch's kitchen so that is what I am going for.  I am finding my inspiration from kitchens I've seen and loved.

There will be no fancy cabinets for me in the new kitchen.  It will be practical but magical.  See what I did there...haha!

I need a special place to work my magic.

I want to be able to see the tools of my trade and have them within my reach.

I need room to stir my cauldron.

I want it to be a place with plenty of hygge and I want everyone that walks in to feel it.

I think it will be very unlike any kitchen anyone has ever seen...at least I hope so.

I will have many useful witch kitchen tools.

And I will have many of them hanging from the ceiling and walls.

I hope I will craft magical things in it. It's still months away from being done but I am very excited to see how it turns out.

Of course room for a cauldron, is there room for a rocking chair too. My neighbor’s dream an old kitchen with room for a rocker! So. as she says, I can sit and knit socks while the bread dough rises.
It is all very practical magic. What exactly would a witch use that wooden hand to do?
I'm looking forward to see the result! I would really like a kitchen like that and hygge is important, something I feel is missing in my kitchen.

Have a great day!

Awesome! I can't wait to see it. I loved the Practical magic herb room with the big table and the cabinet filled with bottles. It was my dream room.

It's going to be magical, I just know it. But those kitchen tools look like they could hurt you.
Magic, isnt magic, unless it works in the kitchen, or so I was taught.
